Many don’t know how close Australia is to Papua New Guinea. It’s so close that we can see it. Because we share the ocean, the Reef and Rainforest Research Centre have come up with a development plan to help both islands ensure environmental and economic sustainability.

The recently released socioeconomic and development project for the PNG traditional inhabitants of the thirteen treaty villages focuses on providing disaster relief and sustainable practices for the locals and plans are expected to start July this year.
