A new report launched today in Brisbane, quantifies the economic and social value of volunteers across Queensland.

The second State of Volunteering in Queensland Report found there’s a 10 percent decline of volunteering over the last 3 years because of the rising cost of living.

The value of volunteering has increased with a $4.70 return for every $1 invested.

The Wire’s Eduardo Jordan asked Senior Advisor Engagement at Volunteering Queensland Rikki Anderson, what the report entails.
