A NRL match over the weekend has sparked mass debate about the treatment of women referees.
In the Bulldogs vs Tigers game on Saturday, referee Kasey Badger copped abuse from players on the field and spectators watching in the stands and online.
It has sparked conversation on the misogynistic backlash when it comes to women in leadership roles within a male dominated sport.
