Over 200 hundred thousand people have been forced from their homes as violence esccaltes in Sri Lanka. Caritas Australia have been in the area, working amongst tsunami releif projects, and have stepped in to provide food and shelter for the thousands of displaced civilians as they flee from the violence that has erupted between the Sri Lankan government and the liberationist Tamil Tigers. But they’re fearful ofa lack of resources and access to distribute aid and are calling on the Australian government to get involved and review peace negotiations with the Indian governement.
