Behrouz Bouchani is the Kurdish refugee whose voice has been heard from behind the razor wire in Manus Island.
His new book No Friend but the Mountains (Picador) was smuggled out via text message and translated from Farsi by Assoc Professor Omid Tofighian of Cairo University, who is also an honarary research associate at the University of Sydney.
The book had a launch event last night in Adelaide,with more planned around Australia and the World.
