Aged care in Australia is in peril and is going to need years of retraining, funding and collaboration between the sector and the government before it is truly suitable for our elderly population.

The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety has made the now infamous mistakes and ignorance of the last 25-30 years public for all to see, but will perhaps enact change.
