A new online resource is now available for the LGBTIQ+ and multicultural communities to express themselves using their own language. The website, created by RMIT with the support of the Australia GLBTIQ Multicultural Council, translates terminology used in the community from English to seven other languages, including Arabic, Mandarin, Spanish, and more. The project also lists NAATI-certified linguists who have been trained in LGBTIQ+ terminology to use inclusive language and practices.
