US President Barack Obama, addressed American troops at the Bagram air base during a surprise overnight visit to Afghanistan, outlining his plan to withdraw American and NATO troops fully by 2014. It’s part of a ten year plan signed with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, which includes completing the transition of military control to Afghan forces. But shortly after Obama’s speech at least six people are reported to have been killed in a suicide car bomb attack in the Afghan capital, Kabul.So is Afghanistan really ready to take control of Taliban and Al Qaeda insurgents?
