Hopes for improved breast cancer surgery success


A new, portable technology has been developed at the University of Adelaide that will assist in identifying cancerous cells.

It is a probe that will help surgeons in ensuring they remove all of the cancer in an initial surgery, avoiding the need for future operations and trauma.
