The AIDS epidemic began more than 30 years ago and since then, close to 40 million people have died from the disease. Millions around the world still live with HIV today.

Education and understanding have come a long way since the 1980s but to fight HIV/AIDS for good, we must start to break down the barriers built up by stigma in society.
