Holden workers in South Australia and Victoria are adjusting to the news that the car manufacturer will cease its operations in Australia in 2017. The news comes just a day after Managing Director Mike Devereux told the Productivity Commission a decision on Holden’s future had not been made, while Treasurer Joe Hockey was in the parliament demanding General Motors make a decision about whether they were planning to stay here or not.
