Low paid charity staff could be stripped of Fringe Benefit Tax concessions in changes expected in next month’s Henry Tax Review. The Rudd Government has so far refused to rule out scrapping the concession, which is worth up to $30,000 a year to individual workers. Economists say people will leave the not-for-profit sector if their modest wages aren’t topped up. But what other solutions are available?
