Abdul Rabbani has been detained at the notorious Guantanamo Bay prison for the last 18 years, uncharged, and held as a prisoner of war.

As the United States slowly withdraws from conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, the government’s right to hold people under International laws of war is waning, and this week Rabbani has called on the Biden administration to review his case and consider his release.
