If the Coalition is successful in getting elected in September we can expect drastic cuts to welfare payments, according to Shadow Treasurer, Joe Hockey. He says we need to end what he calls “The Age of Entitlement” and learn to rely on ourselves because we can’t afford to fund welfare. But are his numbers correct? And can we expect anything different from Labor?
