Cryptosporidiosis outbreaks rising in QLD and NSW

With summer and hot temperatures across Australia, outbreaks of cryptosporidiosis have increased across Queensland and New South Wales.

The condition comes from drinking contaminated water from natural sources such as creeks, and it’s resistant to chlorine, spreading it across public swimming pools.

Some of the symptoms of cryptosporidiosis are diahrroea, vomiting and abdominal discomfort.
