Controversy in John Barilaro Appointment

Today the NSW Upper House voted for an enquiry into the appointment of John Barilaro as Trade Commissioner in New York.
Along with the enquiry, the previous appointment and removal of public servant Jenny West to the role complicates the issue. Despite this it is still possible that the appointment will go ahead.
We spoke to Cate Faehrmann Greens MLC from the Upper House to learn more.
