Research into the environmental impact of wind turbines has resulted in a study that shows the possibility for tens of thousands of used wind turbines to end up in landfill by 2030.
Professor Peter Majewski, from the University of South Australia, is the leader of this research. His team is urging renewable energy companies to find sustainable ways of disposing old wind turbines. We spoke to him to learn more about this issue.
