A report by  Indigenous advocacy group Family Matters has revealed Aboriginal and Torres Strait children are about 10 times more likely to be placed into state care than non-Indigenous children. This number is set to triple in the next twenty years.

These latest figures come almost twenty years after the findings of the ‘Bringing Them Home’ report into the Stolen Generation.
