Dr. Tracy Westerman is world renowned for her work in Aboriginal mental health and suicide prevention.
In 1998, she founded the Indigenous Psychological Services, to fill the void she noticed within mainstream mental health programs.
Now two decades later, she has been recognised as the 2018 WA Australian of the Year, beating out boxer and anti-violence advocate Danny Green among many others.
