“A catastrophe in housing provision for First Nations people” is how the leader of Victoria’s Peak Body to end homelessness, has described the situation in that/our state.

The Council to Homelessness Persons is calling on the Victorian Government to make a commitment to build 60,000 public houses for Victoria’s homeless.

Council CEO, Deborah Di Natale, says everyone can be involved and join a recently launched campaign to raise awareness and ask questions of government at all levels.

She spoke with the Wire’s contributor Jahan Rezakhanlou and began by describing the state of homelessness in Victoria.
