Laura Corrigan
2SER
Laura’s love for radio was born while volunteering at an independent station in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She saw the way Voice of Democracy used the medium as a public service, a social justice tool and platform for the unheard. This is despite the threat of censorship and prosecution.
Since then Laura has been involved with community radio 2ser, striving to tell the stories that often get missed by the mainstream media. Naturally the Wire was a good fit for her.
She hopes to make a career in development communication, combining her passions for social justice and content production with travel.
