Most of us think back fondly on our childhoods, but what if yours was spent behind bars? It’s meant to be a last resort for troubled kids but youth incarceration figures are rising and experts are worried.
In 2011 – 2012 figures showed that of the 4,517 people in prison, more than 14 per cent were considered a young person.
