There’s been a call to arms for young Muslim women from a suprising source, the Australian army reserves. A leading New South Wales Islamic figure, Doctor Jamal Rifi, has suggested that Muslim women should join the reserves in an attempt to cross the culture gap and dispel stereotypes. Neil James, executive Director of the Australian Defence Association spoke about whether the idea would work practically.
