A new study has shown over 80 percent of Asian-Australians experience discrimination.
The study was led by the Australian National University’s Centre for Social Research and Methods to discover “Exposure to and Perceptions of Discrimination.”
Over 2000 people were interviewed including over 700 who were Asian-Australian about their experiences of discrimination including the different settings in which the discrimination took place.
The study’s results show more needs to be done to acknowledge the skills of Asian-Australians at work.
