Yaama Ngunna Baaka

Uncle Bruce Shillingsworth has got indigenous people coming from all over the Nation to convene alongside the Baaka (Darling), Namoi and Barwon rivers for an event from 28 September to the 3 October  – the worlds biggest Corroboree. Yaama Ngunna Baaka. Dance, Singing, Storytelling and even North Australia rainmakers are going to come together to help the parched Darling, and those who live nearby.

Walgett – Saturday 28 September – Two Mile Reserve on the Castlereagh Highway.

Brewarrina – Sunday 29 September – Barwon River at Doyle Street Park.

Bourke – Monday 30 September – 2CUZ FM at corner of Kamilaroi Highway & Monomeeth St.

Wilcannia – Tuesday 1 October – Bakers Park at Reid St. 

Menindee – Wednesday 2 October – On the lake at Bourke & Wills Campsite, Lake Pamamaroo.
