Egypt may have dropped off the media radar but the situation there is far from being resolved. Last night several demonstrators died on the streets of Cairo and many others have been killed in recent clashes with pro-military forces. With presidential elections only weeks away, Egypt’s Supreme Council of the Armed Forces remains in control of executive powers. With blood on the streets of Cairo, the road to democracy isn’t as smooth as some may have hoped.
