US hits Canada, Mexico and European Union with tariffs

Canada, Mexico and the European Union have been hit by a trade tariff for steel and aluminium.

US President Donald Trump levied this tariff against several other countries earlier this year.

World leaders, including the EU’s Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have criticised the tariff, calling it “absurd” and “offensive”.
