Unions re-ignite the battle for workplace reform

Unions are concerned the Rudd Government will fail to scrap WorkChoices legislation as promised. Although the Government has abolished the most hated element of WorkChoices- Australian Workplace Agreements – the majority of the legislation remains intact. The Federal Government is expected to announce the next stage of IR reform in six weeks, and unions are not taking any chances- with the Australian Council of Trade Unions (or ACTU) launching an advertising campaign last night.
