Indigenous youth give new life to tourism industry

The federal government and the hospitality industry announced a joint inititiative today to attract young indigenous workers into Australian tourism. One hundred young indigenous people will be selected for training programs in eight major hotel chains across the county. The industry says its one solution to the industry’s skills shortage and lagging profits.
