The Federal Government has a plan to solve Australia’s nuclear waste problem – send it to South Australia.

Two regional South Australian towns have been chosen as potential locations for a nuclear waste repository, sparking fierce opposition from traditional Indigenous Elders and locals.

While government officials describe the project as an opportunity to generate employment and growth, conservationists and Indigenous representatives disagree.
