Countries such as Australia treat dogs as pets and companion, whereas in some other countries, the treatment is slightly different. In Korea for instance, the dog meat industry is getting around 800,000 dogs to dog farms ready to be slaughtered inhumanely for different purposes. The Korea Observer is launching a crowdfunding campaign to expose the flaws the Korean government has on this industry through a documentary.
