A cabinet leak has revealed back-benchers are pushing for even harsher measures against Australians accused of supporting terrorism. The government already has a plan to strip dual citizens of their Australian citizenship, but it seems some MP’s think they should go further and include those with sole citizenship- providing they can access citizenship to another country. But civil libertarians are warning such a move may have unintended consequences.
