Australia’s response to last week’s alleged chemical weapons attacks on civilians at the hands of the Syrian regime is increasingly becoming more critical, with both Britain and the US readying themselves for a possible military attack on Syria. Prime Minister David Cameron has re-called British parliament from its summer hiatus, fuelling speculation that a response could come any day now, but Foreign Affairs Minister Bob Carr says Australia will act only once it receives the necessary evidence needed to do so.
