A new report has identified seven key steps that could help make indigenous communities stronger and more successful . Author of the “Learning Journeys” study Dr Michael la Flamme visited many communities and talked to Aboriginal people about what they thought would work best for them. He compiled the results into a plan which will he says will help a community make decisions about how they would like to run their community. His research turned up some strong reasons why there is so much disadvantage and frustration in remote Australia.
