Earlier today economist, Professor Ross Garnaut released an update to his 2008 Climate Change review at the National Press Club in Canberra. Presenting his sixth paper in an eight part series commissioned by the Government, Garnaut highlighted the advantages of a market based carbon pricing scheme and called for international cooperation. Canberra based author and former diplomat, Tony Kevin, keenly watched the presentation and says the report will help the government’s case for a carbon tax.
