There’s been an outbreak of cross-party agreement in Canberra. All major parties, including the Greens, have today expressed support for reform of our senate voting system. In future you may be able to preference any number of parties above the line on the senate voting paper, instead of having to rely on the parties to distribute preferences, or numbering countless boxes below the line.
