Rebel NT Aboriginal parliamentarian Alison Andrews says the media has marginalised Clive Palmer and herself in the same way society has marginalised Aboriginal people. Her and her colleagues’ defection from the Country Liberal Party to the Palmer United Party will allow the party’s Aboriginal social policies to be developed by people who have experienced disadvantage first hand, in the heartland of the Northern Territory.
