Same sex marriage advocates have welcomed the proposed marriage equality bill set to be introduced to Parliament this Monday, but warn this is only the first step in a long process of social reform. Australian Marriage Equality is advising supporters of marriage equality in Liberal and National Party constituents to get in touch with their members to encourage a free vote.
