The Aussie Farmers Foundation has opened its third application round for the Rural Hero Grant, which will give $50,000 to a not-for-profit organisation providing an innovative solution for their community in rural farming areas. The aim is to create awareness about the issues affecting farmers and to support rural communities.

Last year, Royal Far West got the grant for their project Healthy Kids Bus Stop, and it has helped to increase operations in more rural areas in New South Wales.
