The legislation stopping the live sheep trade was pushed through parliament despite last minute attempts by Senators Jackie Lambie and David Pockock to investigate the details of the hasty plan between Greens and Labor by sending the bill to a review first.

This has  a storm of  protest by WA farmers at Parliament House Canberra, as huge swathes of Western Australian agriculture could be at risk.
