Researchers hope history can cross the divide in the Murray


The Murray-Darling basin has long been a cause of conflict between different communities and interest groups.

A team of researchers from Griffith University, ANU, La Trobe and the University of Melbourne have decided to take a deep dive into the history of the Murray and its management.

They hope to promote understanding between stakeholders about different values they attach to the river.
