The 2010 World Alzheimer’s Report has just been released, coinciding with dementia awareness week and its not good news for baby boomers or their children. The number of people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s is set to double by 2030 with the costs involved in looking after them set to steadily increase over the years. Anne Oar was the wife of a dementia sufferer and she shares her experiences.
