Protesters unite against Islamaphobia

A protest occurred today outside the University of Technology, Sydney against Islamophobia and racism.
The protest is in response to four women who got physically attacked two weeks ago on the city campus for wearing Hijab’s.
Protesters are disappointed by the lack of initiative the University of Technology has taken to support the victims and those distressed. They are also distressed by the global trend of racism and hate speech that is infiltrating societal values.
