Police demand better injury compensation

On the steps of South Australia’s Parliament House today, hundreds of people gathered to demand change to the State’s Return to Work act to better accommodate police officers. Currently, police officers returning to work after a serious injury will have their compensation capped despite the severe nature of injuries which come with the territory.
