One million Malaysians bring their fight to Australia

After months of aggressive campaigning, environmental group Himpunan Hijau has finally collected its targeted one million signatures in a bid to demand the closure of Lynas’ rare earths processing plant in Gebeng, Kuantan. And now they’re bringing their fight to Australia by taking part in a three-day sit in outside the Sydney headquarters. The small group of Malaysian activists have given Lynas a deadline for the middle of next year to completely be out.
