Friday morning saw teachers across New South Wales walk off the job. They’re protesting against reforms that give schools more power to controls their staffing and budgets. While the NSW Minister for Education says it will give schools greater autonomy and flexibility, the Teachers Federation fears it will lead to staff casualisation and bigger class sizes.
