According to the Australian Network of Disability, or AND, there are currently about 800 000 Australians currently reliant on the disability pension to live.They say at least 200 000 of these people could be quite easily integrated into the workforce, raising about $43 billion in revenue over the next decade.(Photo by http://www.fotopedia.com/items/4tg1q9r7sq5v1-SQsPMeex3uw)

There’s more good news for supporters of the NDIS… a report launched at a national conference says the economy could benefit to the tune of forty billion dollars if more disabled people participated in the workforce.
