NSW Ambulance workplace inquiry calls for immediate action

Despite 11 inquiries in 10 years, bullying in the NSW ambulance service remains endemic and unchanged. That’s according to the latest inquiry by the NSW upper house, who have just handed down their findings on bullying in the industry. And despite calls for his head, the CEO of NSW Ambulance Service, Greg Rochford, is expected to meet with government leaders for an urgent review of workplace practices. Chairwoman of the inquiry, Robyn Parker, says she’s been swamped by complaints and says the service has reached breaking point. She’s calling for immediate and decisive action from the government.
