A new treatment for one of the world’s most deadly diseases may be available in the future, after researchers in Sydney successfully developed and test a new tuberculosis vaccine.
The new vaccine is designed to provide protection to a greater number of people than the current version, which is only effective for young children.
In 2017 1.6 million people died from the disease according to the World Health Organization.
