New study reveals: many Australians believe the country takes in too many migrants

According to a new study by Monash University, a quarter of people who were born in Australia to Australian parents, disagree with diverse immigration and with government assistance to ethnic minorities. However, the overall picture is a positive one. A huge ninety-six percent of Australians feel a strong sense of belonging to the nation.
